2026 Theme: Stewardship

Welcome to our annual theme page. This year, we are diving deep into what it means to live as faithful managers of everything God has entrusted to us.

1. Understanding The True Owner Of All Things

True stewardship begins with the realization that we own nothing. God is the "Possessor of heaven and earth," and everything we hold in our hands is ultimately His.
The Creator’s Right: Everything exists because He created it for His pleasure.
Universal Ownership: From the silver and gold to the "cattle on a thousand hills," it all belongs to Him.
The Earth is His: We inhabit a world that remains the Lord's in its entirety.

2. Understanding Responsibility

Work was never a curse; it was a divine assignment given in paradise. We have a mandate to manage God’s creation with excellence and care. The Original Mandate: Humanity was placed in the garden to "work it" and "keep it," implying active management and protection Work as Holiness: All honest labor is a sacred calling, and we are encouraged to do it heartily as unto the Lord. The Rejection of Idleness: Stewardship requires diligence, as being idle is contrary to the life of a believer.

3. Living a life of Accountability

Ownership belongs to God, but the responsibility belongs to us. Because we are managers, there is an inherent expectation of an final report on our faithfulness. The Day of Reckoning: Every human being must eventually give an account of their life and actions to God. Integrity of Heart: We must be honest with ourselves and walk with personal integrity to be effective stewards. Communal Bonds: We are accountable to our brothers and sisters, a practice that brings healing and growth.

4. The Great Reward

God is not a taskmaster; He is a rewarder. When we manage His resources well, He responds with both earthly and eternal blessings. Nature of the Rewarder: It is fundamental to God's character to reward those who diligently seek Him. The Crown of Life: For those who remain faithful through trials, a crown of life awaits. The Ultimate Prize: While God provides for us here, the greatest treasure is the Lord Himself He is our "exceedingly great reward".
