CCC is a multi-cultural gathering where it does not matter where you are coming from; you should feel comfortable and know you are warmly accepted. The supreme desire of the church is to help you know God and draw closer to Him, so His plan and purpose for your life can be fulfilled. If you do not have a regular place of worship, any of the CCC branches can become your home church.
Who we are
The Lord commands us to be part of a local church family that follows the teaching and practices of the New Testament. CCC is a Bible-believing New Testament Church.
To produce committed Christians who will devote themselves to the teaching of God’s Word, prayer and fellowship as found in Acts 2:42, and equip them to fulfil the Great Commission.
Our worship is expressive and Spirit-filled: singing in the Spirit, lifting and clapping our hands, dancing before the Lord, thanksgiving and praise, giving, prayer and the study of God’s Word.
CCC Kumasi is the headquarters of a church-planting movement, led by our Founder and General Overseer, Rev. Ransford Obeng, and our Resident Pastor, Pastor Joshua Obeng. Pastors, ministry leaders and small groups work together so that every member is cared for and equipped to serve.

Rev. Ransford Obeng is the Founder and General Overseer of the Calvary Charismatic Centre, a non-denominational English church in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. His mandate is to produce committed Christians who devote themselves to the teaching of God’s Word, prayer and fellowship (Acts 2:42) and are equipped to fulfil the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19–20).
Pastor Ransford’s passion is for missions. Together with other like-minded men, he has planted over 600 mission churches throughout Ghana and beyond, in places like the UK, USA, Jamaica, Dubai, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Chad and Brazil.
He preaches the Word of God in all simplicity under the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. His core message is for everyone to have a strong personal relationship with Christ through the study of God’s Word, and for every believer to be committed to the Great Commission.
He is committed to training, mentoring, equipping and empowering young ministers to enter key leadership positions and fulfil their God-ordained purposes and ministry.
Pastor Ransford is blessed with two adult children and five grandchildren.

Pastor Joshua Obeng pastors alongside his father, Rev. Ransford Obeng, Founder of CCC Worldwide. He has almost twenty years of experience serving, first as Youth Pastor and now as Resident Pastor of Calvary Charismatic Centre (Headquarters) in Kumasi, Ghana.
Pastor Joshua holds a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Asia Pacific Theological Seminary. He is a New Testament scholar with a concentration in Biblical Studies and Pentecostal-Charismatic Leadership, and lectures in various Bible institutes across Ghana.
He presents the Word of God with clarity and a great depth of understanding, with an uncommon atmosphere of conviction. A sought-after preacher and teacher, he is passionate about the move of God and seeing revival break out in the nations of the world.
He is happily married to Dr. Nana Akua Obeng, and they are blessed with three children: Rohi Ransford Obeng, Nissi Ransford-Obeng and Jireh Ransford-Obeng.
