The meaning of Ekklesia
The word ‘church’ in the original Greek New Testament is Ekklesia, which means the called-out ones. The moment one becomes a believer, that person becomes a member of the Universal Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. However, the Lord commands us to be part of a local church family that follows the teachings and practices of the New Testament. CCC is a Bible-believing New Testament Church.

Our core beliefs
This belief affirms that Christ holds the highest position over all things spiritual and physical and that He has been given to the Church to provide it with His fullness and strength.
“And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.”
Ephesians 1:22–23
We believe in the triune God: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As commanded in Matthew 28:18–20, we acknowledge the full authority of Jesus Christ and the call to baptize and make disciples in the name of the Trinity.

We uphold the entire Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God. It serves as our final authority and the essential blueprint for living a life of faith and righteousness.

Driven by the Great Commission, we are committed to sharing the Gospel beyond our walls. Our mission is to reach diverse nations and communities with the transformative message of Christ.

Matthew 28:18–20
Our goal is more than just conversion; it is transformation. We focus on walking alongside every believer to help them grow into a mature, lifelong follower of Jesus.
“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.”

We believe in the active power of the Holy Spirit today. By embracing the fivefold ministry — apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers — we empower every member to use their unique spiritual gifts to build up the church.
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.”
Ephesians 4:11–16
We practice Water Baptism and the Holy Communion (the Lord’s Supper) as commanded by Christ. We believe these acts serve as a remembrance of His sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He returns.

We are committed to living a genuine, fruitful lifestyle before the Lord. Our goal is to manifest the “Fruit of the Spirit,” characterized by love, joy, peace, and self-control.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22–23
We believe our lives should honour God in every area — in the way we dress, speak and carry ourselves. True beauty is not found in outward show but in “the hidden man of the heart,” a gentle and quiet spirit. Whatever we do, we do it all to the glory of God.
